Anotace v angličtině: The study describes main features of opinions and attitudes of representatives of firms and organizations concerning the conflicting relations between the family and employment as well as the role of employers in the creation of conditions for alleviation of this conflict. Besides opinions and attitudes expressing the general employers approach to the given topic the study also inquires into particular measures that firms and organisations offer, and into the employers perception of their effectiveness. When analyzing particular spheres differences in employers approach were found, e.g. between firms of different size, with different qualification structure of their staff and between private and public sector firms. An expected influence of the share of women among the employees was proved, too, under some circumstances the economic sector and branch. An extent of the influence or importance of these differentiating criteria is unequal in relation to individual aspects of the employers approach.
